Project aim – provide Ukrainian women, including women with children, with access to legal, social, and psychological support services and promote a community based on mutual support.
Objectives:
- Raise public awareness about the refugee situation and the impact of war on women;
- Provide psychological and emotional support to women with children;
- Inform and advise refugees on employment, legal issues, and Lithuanian legislation;
- To provide participants with the opportunity to explore life in different societies (Lithuania and the United States) and, by expanding their knowledge, to introduce them to the experiences of democracies with deep traditions in the field of human rights.
Main activities:
- Group art therapy;
- Legal advice;
- Mutual support groups;
- Cultural events.
Project period: October 1st, 2023 – March 3rd, 2025
The project is funded by the US Embassy in Lithuania.
